Home moving costs in Dubai depend on home size, floor level, distance and packing scope. As a guide, a studio or 1 bedroom starts from around AED 800, a 2 bedroom apartment from AED 1,300, a 3 bedroom villa from AED 3,000 and a 4 to 5 bedroom villa from AED 4,500. Full packing adds to these figures. Your fixed itemised quote is confirmed after a free in-home survey, with no hidden charges.
Do you handle NOC applications and building permits?
Yes, this is included in our service. Most Dubai buildings require a move-in or move-out NOC, and gated villa communities require gate passes and vehicle registration. We manage Emaar, Nakheel, DAMAC and community management processes at both addresses so you never have to chase anyone.
How do you protect my security deposit during the move?
We use floor runners, lift padding, corner protectors and door jamb guards throughout the move. Damage to hallways, lifts and common areas is the main reason landlords and building managers withhold deposits, so protecting them at both properties is built into every home move.
How do I know B2H Movers is a legitimate, licensed company?
B2H Movers holds a valid UAE Trade Licence, available on request. We operate from a physical office in Deira, issue a written contract for every move and accept card and bank transfer. Be cautious of movers who work only on WhatsApp, insist on full cash upfront and provide no paperwork.
What items will you not transport during a home move?
For safety and legal reasons we cannot transport hazardous materials such as petrol, paint thinners and gas canisters, live plants, perishable food, pets, firearms or illegal items. Cash, jewellery, passports and personal documents should always travel with you personally. For pets, we can recommend specialist UAE pet relocation services.
How far in advance should I book home movers in Dubai?
Book 1 to 2 weeks ahead for standard apartment moves and 2 to 3 weeks for villas, allowing time for the survey, NOC applications and gate passes. During peak season around summer and December, and for weekend or end-of-month dates, book earlier. Same-week moves for studios and 1 bedroom flats are often possible.
How long does a home move take?
A studio or 1 bedroom usually takes 3 to 5 hours, a 2 bedroom apartment 5 to 7 hours, a 3 bedroom villa 1 day and larger villas 1 to 2 days depending on volume, packing scope and access at both properties.
Do you provide packing materials and unpacking?
Yes. We supply double-walled boxes, bubble wrap, blankets, sofa covers and edge guards, and offer full packing and unpacking. Fragile and high-value items are wrapped separately and crated where needed.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes. B2H Movers is licensed and insured, and transit insurance applies to your move. Your coordinator explains the available coverage during the survey, and additional cover can be arranged for high-value artwork, antiques and electronics.
Do you offer storage between move-out and move-in dates?
Yes. Short-term and long-term storage is available when your lease dates do not line up or during renovation, with your household items inventoried and re-delivered when your new home is ready.
